Marylee Leu has called DuPage County home for 15 years, raising her two children here from preschool through high school. A Navy veteran and lifelong volunteer, she has worked in state government, local nonprofits, and now as Project Manager at Accelerate Climate Solutions, building partnerships that make our communities stronger. Marylee believes leadership starts with listening, finding common ground, and making decisions that put people first.

“I believe in opening up opportunities for creative housing options including tiny homes and updated zoning approaches, so more families and individuals can afford to live and thrive in our community”
Sustainability
“I will advocate for community solar projects and other renewable energy initiatives that reduce costs for residents and keep DuPage on a sustainable path. Together, we can push forward smart, practical solutions that protect our environment for future generations”
Economic Opportunities
“I want to strengthen our local economy by supporting small businesses. That includes making it easier for them to provide health insurance options to their employees, keeping our workforce strong and our community healthy”
